BUDGETING TIPS

__________
TRAVEL OFF-SEASON
Many travelers refer to this as "shoulder season," Google your destination's tourism inactivity and plan around those dates. Everything from flights to experiences will be cheaper.
BUY SMART
Purchase your plane ticket with any already-accumulated credit card points. Some banks/programs allow points transfer to/from. If you have multiple cards with points, transfer them to one .
SAVE MONEY ON LODGING
Use "Love Home Swap" and exchange stays with travelers visiting your home country. They'll let you stay in their home, while you let them stay in yours: for free.
DON'T PAY FOR...
Minimize attractions with entrance fees, instead, look for free things to do. Most cities have certain days when museums are free, attend public concerts, free beaches, hiking, etc.
Walk and use public transport during your travels.
Cook and learn about local ingredients.
Minimize buying drinks at bars. But if doing so, opt for local drinks.
