SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK EXPERIENCE

Should You Do It?

CAMPING

This  was my first camping experience ever! Getting settled and familiar with the camping grounds was easier than expected. Four days without wifi and connection to the outside world, was such a great experience.

HUME LAKE

Our camping site didn't have showers, that was also a first for me. But, for the time being, it was more exiting to jump in the lake and bathe!  Such an exciting part of our day to explore the natural water sources of the beautiful park. After all, it was not a big inconvenience.

HIKING

Camping at the Sequoia National Park was an outstanding opportunity  to emerge with nature. To really feel your surrounding, and hiking was essential. Touch everything around you and take deep breaths  while slowly closing your eyes.

KING'S RIVER

Crystal clear waters at the perfect temperature and very accessible for everyone. It was an enjoyable experience  to spend sometime listening to the water - I was so excited! One of the climax of the Sequoia and King's Canyon Parks.

DRIVING THROUGH THE PARK

One of the most relaxing and breathtaking rides I've even taken. Experiencing the park through the car window was mesmerizing. Literally going up the skies through different scenic views and landscapes. Totally recommend!

THINGS TO  CONSIDER:

For the purpose of a transparent review, here are some of the points you should take into account before planning your adventure:

- Your camp site might not have showers. Sinks and toilets will be available.  - You may need a camping propane stove for cooking. -

THINGS TO  CONSIDER:

- Insects are also within nature, come prepare. - The park is huge. Driving is essential, fill your tank! - It gets very cold at night. - Remember, bears are a real thing. After all we're in their habitat. Be respectful of the wild life! -

OVERALL,

Camping at the Sequoia National Park is something I would do again. It will serve as an opportunity to re-connect, re-built, and appreciate your surroundings a bit more. This experience was the true definition of "one within nature." Go, be adventurous, and enjoy mother nature!
