1- PREP WALLS: With a wet cloth, wipe all surfaces. Remove nails and over uneven attachments. Fill holes with all-purpose spackling or drywall, depending on your surface.
Before we begin, you will need peel and stick backsplash tiles and scissors.
Cut the excess blocks of the first few tiles. We want a straight line to begin installation at a corner.
2- BEGIN INSTALLATION: Follow instructions on the peel and stick tile packaging. It's like legos, simple building process. Using your fist, gently apply pressure, then remove clear protective film off the tiles.
3- FILL AND SMOOTH: Using all-purpose spackling or tile grout, fill all the corner edges and possible spaces in between tile panels. Remove sink if you plan on upgrading.
4- WALLPAPER EXTRAVAGANZA: Color, fun, and pattern is exactly what I wanted. This peel and stick wallpaper was also easy to install.
5- WALLPAPER INSTALLATION: Don't be intimidated. This was like applying a big sticker on the wall. After the first panel is installed, you must match the wallpaper pattern. Use a smoothing tool for extra help.
6- CUT, FILL, SMOOTH: Using a box cutter, cut excess wallpaper, trim edges. Then fill and smooth edges and corners with all-purpose spackling and wet finger.
