The Dominican Republic has always been one of my favorite places to vacation, not only because is my motherland, but because of the beauty of its people. As many of you know, I was born in this beautiful island of the Caribbean. Besides the amazing hotel accommodations, the gorgeous white sandy beaches, and the great food, the best part if the hospitality of my people. Dominican will immediately make you feel like home! Even if you’re not from the island, most people will incorporate you into the culture.
When visiting any part of the country, I strongly recommend everyone not to stay at the hotel for the time of their stay. I strongly suggest you go out and explore your surrounding so that you can get a sense of the authentic Dominican culture.
I wanted to share with all of you a slightly different face of my motherland from my last visit. When visiting, make sure you don’t forget to sip on a fria presidente and eat some fritura while enjoying the crystal clear waters.
